On Feb. 20, dozens of Lockport area residents turned up to paint a picture together.
The picture was simple enough. It was a tree, seen through a window. The window was divided into four panes. In each pane, a season—the tree with tender buds, the tree filled with thick, green growth and then orange and red and then finally, the tree barren with a thin coat of snow.
